Manutenzione Winter maintenance for cars and vehicles 

  • Clean the windscreen inside and out to prevent frost formation
  • Make sure you have an antifreeze-type washer fluid
  • Check battery status
  • Check that the engine oil viscosity index is suitable
  • Wash the car regularly to protect it from salt on the roads
 

Dotazioni Additional equipment for the car and the vehicle 

Thermal tyres have considerable advantages over snow chains:
  • Better grip on wet roads and at low temperatures
  • No need to stop to fit chains in case of snow
  • Advantages in the case of roads with snow on the edge of the carriageway or alternating snow-covered sections
Additional features are:
  • Chains or snow tyres: chains may only be used if the snow exceeds a certain height and should only be fitted in areas sheltered from the flow of vehicles (Service Areas, Parking Areas and lay-bys). Use the emergency lane only in cases of extreme necessity.
  • Windscreen scraper
  • Towing cable, in the event of running off the road or traversing
  • External thermometer, in order to be aware of potential frost risks
